Also, a lot of PC-FX games have warning screens if the backup memory is full.

Same Game FX is a PC-FXGA game, not really PC-FX.

It's likely due to the video card or driver being unable to support 3D acceleration on the second video port.

Play "Battle Heat" in a PC Engine emulator or on a real PC Engine/TGCD.

Same Game FX has a plain boring warning screen if you try to play it on a PC-FX instead of a PC-FXGA.

Why? Using a trademarked product name in a description of another product's functionality isn't a violation of the trademark. It's not like it's named "RetroNintendo" or something.

I too have suffered from the horrors of a failing headphone cable, with an effect similar to the cheap voice removal of karaoke machines.
