Would it be better to play using a CD Image or through the disc itself?

I was planning to use the MagicEngine (wish I had the non-demo version) to play "It Came From the Desert!" Because it freezes up on the TurboGrafx-16 some point in the game (usually over Day 100). I enjoy this version then the Amiga\DOS versions...

oops, wrong section...I feel stupid.

Lol, Day 100. No wonder your console is locking up :)

Seriously... I think the game spans over three days or so.

I like progressing in the story of the game. I don't try to beat it in 3 days of the game....

Once you reach day 8, it's "game over" anyways, so I don't know how you played for 100 days. Laughing

I know, I've had it plenty of times. But I remember playing and passed day 8, and doc was still alive and everything. It sort of seemed like everything slightly, replayed itself, I wonder if my turbografx hit a error...

So far, I can't recreate it...and I'm giving up. By the way, I made it to the queen, I can't kill her.

*ANT QUEEN KILLING SPOILERS AHEAD*

To kill the queen:
You have to be able to shoot a floor grenade. To do this, you have to shoot a grenade while facing DOWN. If you do it right, it will explode under her and she will raise her head up. When her head raises up, change your shot focus to the UP position and pelt her with gunfire. Repeat this process until you win. You also have to watch out for crawling critters on the ground, as well as her acid shots. You'll know you're in range when she starts biting at you but you're just outside of her hit range. It takes pratice to get right.

The game is rather buggy so it's not really a shock that it would somehow keep playing past day 8. I've made the game completely lock up before with normal gameplay (it froze when going to a new scene), and of course there's the wonderful flying glitch...
