I am very pleased that you have completed the OSX version. I have just spent about a month fixing my G4 because I messed it up trying to put OS9 on just for Magic Engine. Its all ok now.

Some questions:

1. Will the OSX version work on Intel Macs as well?

2. Will a user guide be available specifically for MAC OSX with trouble shooting?

3. When can download it?

well done for all the hard work

cheers

				Hello

I am one of the lucky beta testers. My OSX Mac has two Intel processors and it is working and looking great! It is almost finished. So the answer is a big YES! David is doing a fantastic job!

Thanks

				Two more questions:

1.Was that a yes for the user guide also?

2. Will we be able to pay for Magic Engine through this site? It would make it easier.

all the best

Yes you can Pay David Michel at this site and it will be so simple to down load you wont need a manual. I am not good with computers but even I can do it. You will be able to ask for help if you need it at this site.

Magic Engine OSX will be out very soon.

				This is all good stuff.

What I meant was a detailed and comprehensive user guide that helps with all aspects of Magic engine including keyboard configuration as well as exactly how to run a CD Rom game.

I have the x-Arcade controller and wish to use this with magic engine. Will it be easy to configure? It know that it works like a keyboard.

Cheers

				No unfortunately there's no manual. ^^;

But this forum is a good place to get help.

About the X-Arcade, MagicEngine has a predefined keyboard configuration for it, so it's just a matter of selecting it. I couldn't test it though as I don't own one but logicaly it should work fine. _________________ David Michel |

Well done, this is awesome. The Xarcade controller works fine and you even have it listed in the configuration. This makes it really easy.

Image Fight 2 works fine from the CD-Rom. This is a very rare game that I have been waiting to play for years.

One more question:

I've just purchased Magic Engine OSX. But when I download it, it is only a demo version? |

You will receive a key file in your email. when it arrives just save it to /<your username>/Library/Application Support/MagicEngine/Config/ or while running ME, click on the OS X menubar where it says MagicEngine then select Register and follow the prompts.

There's a little delay for receiving the key file, I process the orders manually. I will check if I have received yours.

Glad that the X-Arcade config works fine. _________________ David Michel |

It's not by e-mail anymore.

The key is available as a download now. When you order you create an account on MagicEngine web site. _________________ David Michel |

doh. forgot about that. And speaking of that, I just tried to creat an account, just in case. But it apparently doesn't allow spaces to be used in your username. Bug or intentional? |

Actually you do. From the Magic Engine download page:

 	  | Quote: | | The demo is limited in time, everything is fully fonctionnal, but after 5 minutes the game you are playing will be frozen. You can reset it to start again or you can load another game, but you can not play to a game more than 5 minutes. |

All you have to do is follow our directions in the above posts to add your registration key. |
