When playing a CDrom game, and you save your data, of course the game will load where you saved it at. Now, I am trying to start a new game, of the same game, cuz I just was trying the game out to get used to it. I am getting the message that my file cabinet full, and I need to intialize it. How do I go about doing this, for this game, so that I can play again from scatch?

You push Select on the BIOS screen. First option is for file management, third option is for formatting your BRAM. If nothing is appearing in your BRAM (because of ME's peculiar way of managing per-game BRAM), you might need to launch the game first and make a soft reset with Run + Select.

I had tried it this way. It is just like the Duo, pressing select at the main screen, took you to where you could delete files, or format. This didnt do it for me though. I ended up going into the backup .dat file, and wiping it clean to get it to create a new game. Is there another way?

The game doesn't have an option to delete its files?

No, Might and Magic III has just LOAD and NEW GAME. After I boot the game, I can do a select/run reset with the controller, and hitting select at the super system will bring up that games file that is stored in the backup. Deleting it there doesnt delete it in the backup tho. Initializing the ram has no effect on the backup file either. Pushing run to start the game puts me right back where it was before. So, I went into the backup file, and it looked like greek to me, lol.. Laughing So, I just wiped it clean. Of course, that worked. I am going to start paying a little more attention to this file, so I will know what is what, in case I need to do it again. Then, I can just delete what I want, and not everything.
