Ok, i've been able to use it in the past (but nowadays with this new "reformatting" and "FDisk" stuff, its too much for me Smile ) anyway, I have ME v.98 and....well, I put my CD in the drive....Boot CD....System Card 3.....then BLAM, goes to the screen as if you are going to play an audio cd..... I am running XP Home (Bah home)

also, going to post the ottom of my log...says something about ASPI not working...but, aspichk says they are Evil or Very Mad


need anymore system info.....lemme know, but dangit, I want to play Loom! Very Happy

Hi,

1. Use the latest beta 0.99b5.

2. Most certainly your XP system doesn't have any ASPI layer installed. Magic Engine should be able to work without, though. Check your INI file and look for this part:

;
; CD-ROM drive letter
; --
; (Windows 2000/XP only)
;
; D:
; E:
; ...
;

drive_letter=

Specify your driver letter and there you go.
