1. Ability to direct the emulator to the snapshot and save files within the GUI.

2. Ability to zip up all your snapshots in one file like you can in MAME.

Thanks David for all your hard work so far!

1.) Being able to use the keyboard keys to scroll up and down on menus (specificly the ROM menu) and being able to press a letter in the ROM menu so it goes to that part of the alphabet in your ROM section, like in the old one.

2.)Well this isn't really for 1.0, but definitley something that would be nice in the future; netplay. Netplay would rule.

1. Keyboard keys to browse through the menus: that's an easy one, just map the keys you need. I've mapped the cursor keys to mirror my gamepad 1, I've assigned Enter for Run and Space for Select, plus two others keys for Buttons I & II -- works just fine.

2. Netplay: I seem to recall it's on the "To Do" list, but it's not a priority for 1.0. Will hopefully come later.

Restoring the Alt+Enter combination or being able to map a key to quickly switch ME from window mode to fullscreen (not zoom) would be very handy for testing purposes :o)

- A 'beep' sound telling you that you have only 15 seconds left from those 5 minutes you have when using the demo version.

- Support for fullscreen resolutions higher than 640x480 (up to 2048x1536)

_ The ability to make inputs "inp" aka recording a game.

_ Ability to choose the display refresh rate (75,85,90,100Hz etc...) and resolution.

what rendering mode does Magic Engine support for now? GDI?
If it's GDI,then I would like to see OpenGL rendering, not just the planned Direct 3D mode.

But,Direct Draw 2D is the best.I would like to see Direct Draw rendering mode added.

Wake up Nakamichi Wink

ME 1.0 uses OpenGL. Forthcoming versions should reimplement DirectX support as a back-up for people with bad driver / old hardware issues.

So Magic Engnre 1.0 really uses OpenGL for gfx rendering? Good to know that Smile

That means,I wuld like to see Direct 2D (Direct Draw) support for the next release. It's the most compatible and most reliable rendering mode for old graphics cards.
