Use Tocfixer to verify the iso/cue are correct. Alcohol120% can also mount cue and image files. _________________ www.pcedev.net |

Thank you. But even with Alcohol120% I canīt run the iso. ME couldnīt find the drive, where the iso was mounted.

Please anyone tell me how I can play an iso-game on the Magic Engine.

I mount the iso in a virtual drive and then? |

To get Daemon tools to work with ME...

1.) Go to MY COMPUTER, and check the drive letter of virtual cd-rom.

2.) Go to MagicEngine folder, and open PCE.INI.

3.) Under "cd-rom settings" specify the drive_letter=

4.) That should make ME recogized the virtual cd-drive. |

				| How is Alcohol 120% w/ ripping CDs and SCDs? I've got a nice stack of games, but my new emulation computer is in a very inconvenient location to be putting CDs in and out all the time. Probably a good idea to ISO them and play them that way, but don't want to do it at the cost of quality. |

I used Nero to save all iso/wave files and use TocFixer to correct the files and create the CUE file for mounting with Alcohol. _________________ www.pcedev.net |

Uh yes, I found it. The ini isnīt a folder...

I changed letter of virtual drive (as used by Alcohol120%).

Then I mounted the iso. Then I started ME and want to boot CD.

The Magic System screen appears and says "no PCE CD".

Could the iso be damaged?

I just donīt seem to get it running... |

Iīve tried to change drive letter in .ini.

The .ini is a editor-file, right?

It doesnīt seem to have any influence on the ME configuration.

What file type must that ini be? |

				| Its Ys Book 1&2. I changed the drive letter in pce.ini to E: as configurated with Daemon Virtual Drive. Mounted the iso in E: started ME. Boot CD (shows PCE CD). But the screen remains black. What to do? |

				| I guess cue iso wav. Now the soundfiles are not converted yet, they still are mp3. Should this be the problem? |
