I'm not really into RPGs, but I sure love action and strategy RPGs!

I'm trying to compile a list of both. so far this is what I have for PCE CD action rpgs:

Efera & Jiliora
Exile I
Exile II
Fiend Hunter
Fray
Magicoal
Popful Mail
Xak 1+2
Xak III
Xanadu I
Xanadu II
Ys I+2
Ys III
Ys IV

any thing else?

You could also probably add Dragonslayer and the Cosmic Fantasy Series to that list. Besides Ys, those are my favorites for the system.

Dragon Slayer and Cosmic Fantasy are straight traditional RPGs.

Some more action rpgs-

Adventure Island/Dragon's Curse
Dynastic Hero
Shada
Night Creatures (not good)
