When engaged in battle, soldiers cry out when killed. When this happens, the game starts playing many samples and continues. It sounds like this known bug:
Quote:
- The Manhole : once you hear the first PCM voice in the game, you'll have to listen to all the PCM voices from the whole game (both Magic and System Card).

I noticed the problem using beta 4 and PCE Syscard 3. Switched to beta 2, same problem. Tried Magic System, no avail.

When this happens, does it continues to play samples forever (and loop)or are just a bunch of samples played and then it stops?

A bunch of samples are played and then it stops. If the game triggers another sample, the 'playlist' is interrupted, the correct sample is played, and the 'playlist' starts over from the beginning.

The initial sample is played at the correct frequency/speed, but the ones that follow aren't always.
