in Magic Engine v1.00pr ? as there's no option in INI..or not implemented yet ? should I wait for final version ? Question

Yes, all the missing options like custom res and res lock will be in the final version.

Will these final release features allow ME 1.0 to be run from a window (640X480, etc) instead of as full screen? I often like to run emus w/o obstructing other on-screen activity Wink Great job overall, though! It was money well spent back in 2002!

On my PC, my LCD monitor reports that Magic Engine is running at a strange resolution: 656x496. Is that normal?

Also, I get a lot of tearing artifacts, implying that "wait for vsync" is not turned on. Is this also missing from the preview version?

I figured out that since ME apparently uses OpenGL, vsync can be forced on in the video card drivers. As far as I can tell, this works for modern ATI video cards.
