It's a temporary link, I will have a few official mirrors up by tomorrow, thanks guys for all your help, I really appreciate it!

BTW could someone download it quick and test it to see if the gamepad problem is fixed so that I announce it in the news. Smile

During a very quick test (1st level of Air Zonk), my usb gamepad (Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power) worked very well!
I will test it more completely and let you know if I run into any problems.

Thanks! Very Happy

Did you try to change the calibration values in the pce.ini file?

Seems to work correctly in both GUI and ingame for my MS SideWinder GamePad USB.

A little remark: even after tweaking calibration settings, I can feel that diagonal directions are not that smooth they may be when I use the keyboard.

Example: It's really hard to do a bottom, bottom right, right movement. I have to come back to the centre position before trying a diagonal movement. No problem with the keyb...

Tested with R-Type Complete CD (booohoooo, Spriggan please don't crash !!! Razz)

So far, I can confirm that a Saitek P880 USB joypad works with both directional pad and at least two buttons. Streetfighter 2 CE crashes on boot so I can't test 6-button games. Anyone else know of any 6 button turbo games?

LOL...okay, I check that one Smile

Logitec rumblepad 2 has little freezes going on with the directional pad. Confirmed 2 buttons working.

Playstation 2 controller through a USB adapter works good with directional pad and two buttons.

These are tested without changing calibration yet.

Off to play strip fighter!

I haven't been able to get all six buttons working in stripfighter. I managed to get one button pausing the game, but thats it.

You are right, doesn't work for me neither, I get the pause effect too (must be mapped to the run button), it's strange, it worked fine before... ok I will check that, thanks.

In all games I checked, I have two functional action buttons and I can set one other button to pause the game. Its like the emu only wants to be configured for a standard PC-Engine controller instead of a six button pad.

I can't speak for the game pad problem, as I use the keyboard for this emu. But, here's what I can report on...

Dracula X-

The Good News...
1) It no longer locks up when a CD track starts or when a game save is loaded.
2) The CD music now plays great, and fades when it's supposed to (ie, before a boss fight, after a boss dies, etc.).
3) The cinemas and such play fine.
4) THE MUSIC NOW LOOPS IN GAME!
5) The odd "Blue Richter" bug seems to be gone. I haven't played every water stage, but the ones I have been on, the bug isn't there.

The Bad News...
1) The remnants of the Konami logo still hang around at the very beginning of the opening cinema until the graphics of Dracula's castle come up.

So there ya go. Beyond that odd logo bug, Drac X seems to be running smoothly. The bugs that plagued the game in PR3 all appear to be gone. After I've played more thoroughly, I'll post again in this thread should anything change.

Congrats David and team, and thanks Smile
