Yep, if you want to play this game and don't feel like paying hundreds of dollars on ebay for it go here and follow the directions I just made it ^_^. It works.

1 - Isos/roms are not allowed on this board.
2 - This rip is a bad dump completly out of synch
3 - People with a brain don't pay hundreds of dollars for this game that is all but rare.

That's great, but be wary when perusing that site. Those are PC Engine games, not Turbo Duo ones. So you're actually better off looking for games
like Exile, Ys and Dragonslayer on ebay. (Notice, of course, that the site doesn't have Beyond Shadowgate.) Evil or Very Mad

PC Engine CD games will work on the Turbo Duo for sure. Of course, most of them are in Japanese, but hopefully you don't buy NEC games on the sole basis that a handful of them are in English.

I was warning people that these were the JAPANESE games. So if they saw
a game that was released in the US on the list, they should know that it'll
be the Japanese, not the English, version they were buying.
Warning like that certainly don't apply for the games that were never released to the English speaking world.

Is copying PC Engine CDs that hard? I've been using the plain ol "Disc Copy" function of Nero 6 Express and its never failed to copy a Duo CD game Smile

No, it's not that hard. But the TOC database is not about making casual copies; it's about making perfect copies and preventing the redistribution of bad rips.

Whats ripping mean? Is that taking the clear plastic coating on the disc, and tearing it off then extracting the metal layer with a fork into flakes onto my computer desk for examination under a microscope, then Elmers Glue them onto my hard drive to share with the rest of the world?

Perfect rips??????? <----------*confused* I play games from Kadamose backups that only hiss and pop, and go out of synch every 10 seconds, so whats the big deal? I thought this was acceptable? Don't listen to that lying bastard from NECSTASY (Squaresoft), he only tells you such rubbish because he is jealous.

Better late than never! jammaniaclord only took about close to two years to contribute to the thread, but hey, looks like Squaresoft74 appreciated it... Wink
