Hi I have been sticking to Magic Engine for over a year now and the realease of 1.00+ has been great, but I noticed that when I played the games I had an option to play the music on the CD. I dont know how I got it or if they elimnated it intirely sinde 1.00. I know they came out with a seperate file to playe the music but it was very buggy and I cant remmember or even find the file now. Could someone please help Me play My music on YS Books 1 and 2. Thanks : )
By the way before Magic angine I have been sticking the CD's into My home Stereo for a few years now and it works great... (for thoughs who didint know that) just ignor the warning (First Track) in the beggining it doesint mess up the player like it says it may, except for maybe the REALY old ones or perhaps Foriegn players.

Just don't play track 2, and the last one, and you should be all set.

ummm... Im looking to play the TD Music from My TD CD's on the computer using ME software. I know there is Software that is in ME that allows You to play only the music. but I dont know how I got to it. Im just woundering how to access it. I have even looked in the . INI (breifly)

thanks for the help - Tallon

by the way anyone who has Y's Books 1 and 2 or any other Y's. please Contact Me on AIM: KuteNosedBoy. or Email: KuteNosedBoy@yahoo.com
I am intrested in getting some info and possibly some saved games so I dont have to replay the whole game to grab clips for the Music Video I am wanting to make on Ys. Thanks.
I will also include a link on where to find old and new school game remixes that are of good quality and very well put together (including a track from NES's " Y's " (which by the way isnt as good as Turbo Duos Y's games) but the remix is fairly good.

You're talking about the PC Engine's built-in CD player. It only works with audio CDs, not with actual games.

The stand-alone Magic Player (available at magicengine.com) can also play NEC CD audio.

Ah yes, indeed. It would be neat to have an option in Magic Engine and Magic Player to play the music when the app is in the background (ie. not focused).
