640x480 - screen turns black (mouse clicks do nothing), Cmd-F to get back to windowed mode, right click to bring up menu. Works fine, as long as it's in windowed mode.

Are you using OS X 10.5.1 though? The problems we are having seem to be related to Leopard.

I too am suffering from the same issues. No open, no GUI, cdrom games won't boot... ME pretty much does nothing.
And I SO wanted that video mode!

Your only option on ppc linux would probably be [url=http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/]Mednafen. It offers good compatibility, but has high system requirements to do it. |

Toast can not burn or mount PCE/TG-16 CD images. There is NO way around this as it is a limitation of OS X.

Toast will automatically put 2 sec gaps between each audio track even if you have a bin/cue, even if you force 0sec gaps between the tracks. I wouldn't use Toast for these kind of disks.
