Just bought the Magic Engine Software for my PC. Great work on it. I also own the Turbo Graphix 16 system with CD rom. Been spending too much on Ebay looking for games... . Want to inform you all, if you don't know already, that TransGamming has software and systems still. Some may be up in price, depends on the rarity of the game. I noticed that they were not listed in the links. I am new to the board hope you will see post more. |

				| Thanks for the link, I have also found some PC Engines on EBAY. Can anyone tell me if it really matters if I buy the turbo graffix unit, or the actual pc engine from one of the dealers in Japan? |

				• Turbo GrafX-16 - Plays ONLY US Hu-Cards - Jap=>US Converter to play Import games.

• Turbo Duo - Plays ONLY US Hu-Cards, ALL CDROM games with the proper system card (Thus you need an Arcade Card with a Jap=>US Converter to play games like Sapphire as the Arcade card was only released in Japan or Jap Hu-Cards)

• PC Engine - Plays ONLY Jap Hu-Cards

• PC Engine Duo - Plays ONLY Jap Hu-Cards but all CDRom Games with the appropriate system card.

The Duo Systems automatically come installed with the System 3.0 Card. So the only card you would need for a Duo System is the Arcade Card.

There is a mod for the US System that allows you to add a switch to allow for Jap or US Games, but I do not remember the link to that site. In order to get the best of both worlds though, I would suggest getting a US System, as then you can eventually be able to play every single game for the system. With the exception of a couple of games that will for some reason ONLY run on a Jap System.
